Troop 206 of the Atlanta Area Council Chattahoochee District is chartered under the Boy Scouts of America. The National Scout organization is committed to develop character through ethical behavior in scouts. Our sponsor, Zion Missionary Baptist Church, provides Christian guidance, financial, spiritual, and moral support. 


Most of us learn by experience.  Scouting provides a safe environment for our youth to be challenged and grow.  Scouting is a about leadership.  They learn skills (outdoor survival and life), teach and lead others.

Mission

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
